The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, on Sunday told his church members that “the brains of those who believed the sex scandal videos have travelled”.
The Omega Fire Ministry Worldwide had barred his congregants from making further comments or statements on the alleged sexual relationship.
For some weeks, Mr. Suleman and a Canada-based singer, Stephanie Otobo, traded accusations over allegations of sexual affair, forceful abortion of pregnancy, and breach of marriage promise.
Mr. Suleman had denied the allegations.
However, during a visit to his church by Stephanie’s mother and sister today to ask for forgiveness, the pastor said: “I was told the young lady did several videos, as I speak to you, I have not watched one because I don’t need it. I have not read one because I don’t need it. Be careful in life not to allow people use you to achieve their aim. And the truth is when they use you, they will destroy you.”
“If you have watched that video and you believed or you contemplated believing or you were bothered about it. Do me a favour now. Knock you head. Let me tell you why I said that. The reason I said knock your head is because it’s either you should knock yourself back into consciousness because your brain travelled or knock stupidity out of your head.”
